Today was a day I tell ya! Ruby had a melt down about everything she could possibly melt down about! I knew it was gonna be bad when she woke up crying instead of her normal giggling and singing. She cried over breakfast, getting ready to go to daycare.....There was the bright part of my day, she went to daycare!!!!!! I love her dearly, but mama needed a break! She woke up crabby from nap, cried all the way through our run toTarget, about having to be in the cart, about not getting Dora panties, about not getting a strategically placed toy at the register! Everything!!!!!
We were at our wits end by 6:30, Ruby's 8:30 bedtime seemed far far away. So off we went for a little walk on Juno trail, it was nice! She had fun and she didn't cry (with the exception of the falling twice and skinning both knees). Mom and Dad enjoyed themselves too.
Heading home we decided to go for a short drive. With the windows down and the beautiful weather it was a quick little trip of bliss, as I watched my little girl in the side view mirror with her sweet little hand out the window and a smile on her beautiful face, I decided that made up for it all!
